Show only what supports the current stage
Give the presentation enough space, then add only the tools students need right now. A short question in Notes or a Timer may be enough; there is no benefit in filling the board with tools that are not being used.
Create and edit the presentation in Canva. Sabura is where you can display it alongside the rest of your lesson.
Controls and settings
Canva requires Sabura Pro and a connected Canva account. Once connected, choose a presentation from the gallery to open it in a board window. Use the presentation controls to move through slides. Resizing preserves the slide proportions. If a private presentation does not load, check that the browser is signed in to the Canva account with access. Connecting the account does not remove Canva’s own access or embedding restrictions.
Set it up in Sabura
- Open Canva in Sabura and connect your Canva account.
- Choose the presentation you want.
- Arrange the slide window beside the tools you need for the activity.
Keep the question visible as the slides change
Show a slide with a case study or image and put the discussion question in Notes beside it. When you move to the next slide, leave the question on screen so students can compare their first ideas with the new information.
Teaching tip
Review the deck before class and decide where you want to stop for discussion instead of moving through every slide at the same pace.
