About Sabura
Learn the story behind Sabura and why we built simple, fast classroom tools that help teachers run lessons clearly on the smartboard.
Teaching is undeniably one of the most important jobs in the world, but it is also one of the most exhausting. Between grading, lesson planning, and managing a room full of energetic students, teachers have enough on their plates.
We built Sabura because we noticed that classroom technology was becoming a burden instead of a helper. Teachers do not have 10 minutes to troubleshoot clunky software, close pop-up ads, or reset a forgotten password while students are waiting. They need tools that simply work.
The word Sabura means "chalkboard" or "whiteboard" in Arabic. To us, it represents a clean, dependable space where learning can happen naturally.
What we believe in
- Simplicity over complexity You shouldn't need a tech manual to pick a random student or start a timer. Our tools are designed to be instantly understandable. Open your browser, click a button, and you are ready to teach.
- Built for the smartboard Classroom tools are useless if the students in the back row can't read them. We design Sabura with bold typography, high contrast, and clean layouts that look beautiful on projectors and smartboards.
- Respecting student privacy Your classroom is a safe space, and your data should be too. If you use Sabura as a guest, your student lists never leave your device. If you create an account to save your lists, they are securely stored and never shared.
- Focus, not distraction Heavy animations, slow load times, and cluttered screens distract students. Sabura is intentionally lightweight, ensuring the focus remains entirely on your lesson.
